Dreamfall : The Longest Journey Preview
IGN is quite positive about the upcoming Dreamfall : The Longest Journey in their preview. Dreamfall has a ton of new exciting features that have really improved the game compared to the (excellent) original The Longest Journey back in 1999. Todays technology helps add a lot more detail to the world and it’s characters. We are looking forward to the release.
“Quickly, for those that aren’t familiar with the game, Dreamfall is the follow-up to 2000’s Adventure Game of the Year called The Longest Journey. It told the story of April Ryan, an art student that finds herself embroiled in a mind blowing conflict between the worlds of science and magic. It was a very mature story for its time. Heck, it still is and Funcom is making sure that the follow-up is just as much for adults as the original. Dreamfall continues the fiction, but isn’t being considered a true sequel by Funcom. Anyone hoping to jump right into the story will be able to do so thanks to new characters, plots, and the way the story is presented from an outsider’s view. ”
