Not even a year old and there is already an expansion in the works for Empire Earth 2. The expansion will be called “The Art of Supremacy”. New game types and content will be included in this expansion, and it is scheduled for release early 2006. At least 2 campaigns will take place in Africa and Egypt.
“As with Empire Earth II, the expansion will also offer a couple of turning point battles to test the mettle of desktop commanders. The first of these showcases the last of the new civilizations, the Zulu, as they fight with the wily British over control of Africa. Roarke’s Drift, as it’s called, has apparently been a pretty tricky set of battles to balance. The issue is that the Zulu outnumbered British forces by incredible numbers towards the beginning and towards the end had been mercilessly chewed up by rifles as the British, miraculously, tipped completely over to the side of the Brits. Not as hard to balance, but just as important to the face of the world today, was the battle of Kursk, which is the second turning point battle offered up with the expansion. ”
