Da Vinci Code : The Game

It will hardly surprise anyone that after the hugely popular book, The Da Vinci Code, by Dan Brown, a video game would be developed. Whether this upcoming game will be able to even compete with the success of the book is hard to predict. The Da Vinci Code is to be released around the same time the movie starring Tom Hanks is, which will be in May of this year. IGN reports that about 80% of the game is finished.

Whether you know of the upcoming Tom Hanks movie or you’ve read the New York Times best-seller, no doubt you’ve heard of The Da Vinci Code. Let’s face it, when a book sells more than 38.6 million copies, is translated into 42 languages, and becomes a videogame, its popularity is inimitable. Harkening back to another time, 2K Games and developer The Collective have paired up to bring gamers a stylistic adventure, one that’s both about ancient culture and that updates a strangely ancient genre.
