Sam & Max - Back again?
The funny dog and rabbit duo is back. Or so it seems. Previous talk of their comeback ended up in no actual game. GameTap announced that they will partner up with TellTale Games to produce the newest Sam & Max game. GameTap’s press release mentions the game should be ready just in time for the holiday season. We hope this game will actually make it to the stores.
GameTap continues to make a big splash in the adventure world today with its second major announcement. The online gaming network owned by Turner Broadcasting revealed today that it has entered into a partnership with Telltale Games to co-produce and distribute the first “season” of Sam & Max adventure games.
The new Sam & Max series represents GameTap’s first endeavour as a producer, and is the first brand new title introduced to the network’s existing library of more than 500 video game titles. Launching “in time for this holiday season”, according to GameTap’s press release, the Sam & Max games will be available both to subscribers of GameTap’s network and for purchase directly from Telltale’s website.
